Aims of the Group
Our aims are to maintain and improve the amenity and natural environment of this popular, historic and scenic route along the River Almond, which enters the River Forth, west of Edinburgh, at Cramond, for the benefit of local residents and visitors.
The group are often asked why we remove certain plants from areas around the River Almond Walkway so our Secretary, Isla Browning, has written a comprehensive article on the various species and their effects on the biodiversity of the walkway. ...more
